On Wednesday we went to a place called Keukenhof which is a huge tulip/flower/thingy type place in Lisse. There are beautiful gardens absolutely choc-a-block with flowers, lakes, shops, food, floral arranging displays - you get the idea - & it is only open for a few months of the year.
On the way out we grabbed a warm waffle with cream & caramel syrup. Oh. My. God! Was it good or was it good? Although here's an interesting tidbit that may put you off slightly. The word for cream in Dutch is slagroom. There is something seriously wrong with that.
