Today we had a full day in Toronto. Our first stop was the CN Tower which is kind of like going to the Eureka Tower in Melbourne. They have a glass floor but you don't go out in a cube like Eureka - so I think ours is better.
We also went on one of those bus tours where you travel around, someone talks about the highlights and you can get on and off all day. As it is the Toronto International Film Festival there were lots of famous people in town so we decided to do a bit of celebrity spotting.
It didn't take us long. We saw Lisa Kudrow getting into a car at the Four Seasons Hotel (obviously the place to stay) and Rob managed to get a photo.
It's the blurry one of the blond chick!
We did a bit of walking up to a castle called Casa Loma but decided not to go in when we saw the price. So we jumped back on the bus and went to the Air Canada centre. We had decided that since we were in Canada and the Canadians love ice hockey (although interestingly their national sport is actually lacrosse), we thought we would try and get free tickets to a game. It was sponsored by Coke Zero and although we didn't end up with tickets (we had to fill in a form to win them and had to wait around for ages, so we left) we got about 8 free cans of Coke Zero.

So we decided to then go on the boat tour which was included in the price of the bus ticket. It was really nice - as boat trips go.
So we had a great day with lots of freebies. As well as the Coke zero we also got free casadeas (have no idea how you spell that but I think it's Mexican food. Wherever they are from, they are tasty) and free avocados from Mexico were being given away.
No idea when we are going to eat them, or what with. But hey, they were free.
We finished the night off going to the laundromat which is a first for me - hence the photo.
And then just to top the day off - I watched Episode 1 of Season 5 of BONES!!!!!!!!
