NEW JERSEY TO VERMONT

Today Ruthie drove me to the airport in Philadelphia to pick up Holly who had been to do a whirlwind tour of Vegas, L.A. and San Francisco. She was very chatty and had lots of funny stories. I actually wondered if she has been drinking.
But no - just high on the excitement of her trip.
Or maybe seeing me????
Yeah.
Probably not.
So we went to pick up our rental car (a Honda Accord - nice!) and were excited to find they had free Dunkin Donuts for customers!
Not good for us.
But good.
After lunch and grabbing my stuff from Ruthies, Holly and I set off for the drive back to camp. It took us through 5 states and about an hour and a half longer than it should it (we took route 7 as it seemed the most direct but wasn't a major road so was a lot slower). It rained the whole way and close to Rutland the oil light came on. Not so great for a car we had just picked up and were going to drive for 2 weeks.
By the time we got to camp it was nearly 11.30pm and everyone was asleep.
It was really cold - kind of felt like the weather we had at pre camp.
No exciting photos from that day so here is one of us girls swimming across the pond at the end o camp (I mentioned it in an earlier blog but didn't have a photo at the time).
