VERMONT - PITTSFORD

Every Sunday after breakfast the kids have to write a letter home. We have a newsletter called “The Chirrup” full of stories that the campers (and sometimes staff) have written as well as photos and lots of trivia and camp life info. There is a section for the kids to write a letter to their family and then it gets posted home. I am the editor which I really enjoy doing although trying to get articles from the kids at all, let alone in time to have it ready for Sunday morning, is as hard as getting them to take a shower (attached is a copy of The Chirrup for your viewing pleasure).
Just so you know they are supposed to have a shower every Wednesday and Saturday AT LEAST. It rains a lot here and they are all boys so I actually think that every day would be great. But twice a week is better than nothing. So the staff and senior campers put together some funny little skits twice a week to entertain the kids and get them to have a shower.
Today we also had a second intake of kids of campers for session one. So our little group of three kids has grown to seven.
It’s Sunday, so it’s cabin cook out.
Ummmmm………………………yay.
